The Oklahoma Youth Reining Horse Association (OKYRHA) is an organization sponsored by OKRHA to promote positive, fun, and educational activities for our youth. Our youth program encompasses youth from preschool up through high school. Through their participation in OKYRHA, these youth will develop not only their riding skills and knowledge of reining and horses, but they will also have opportunities for service and leadership.
Meetings are held at every horse show with fun activities, and lots of time for socializing and making new friends. Some of the activities for this year include: ice cream social, art and photography show, egg & spoon races, and a food drive for a food pantry. Also, many of our youth participated in the OKRHA clinic in Purcell.
OKRHA values our youth. They are the future of reining and of OKRHA. We look forward to growing and expanding our youth participation and our program. Youth do not have to own a horse to participate-- just love horses and reining! We welcome all interested youth to come to one of our meetings and check us out.
OKRHA is excited about its new youth program. To get involved
